Hi Everyone!!!
We pray you are all having a great summer.
Much has happened here in Stanberry the past three weeks. We went to Denver to
help Brother Larry move into his new appartment and set up his new office. We
had opportunity to visit many of the church member's homes and are still running
off the food they served us. =D
While we were in Denver, Andrew Fernandez, along with his fiancé, Melissa
Miller, arrived in Stanberry. They will be here a month before heading up to
Michigan to prepare final plans for their wedding. They will be returning to
Stanberry, to live, on August 25.
We helped out with a church garage sale as well and had a lot of fun visiting
with the different people from the community who stopped at our different
tables. We raised a good amount for LITES staff salary. Praise God!!!
Our celebration service had a different twist this year. We not only said
goodbye to Jordan Schlenker, who completed his third year, but we also said
goodbye to our Director, Brother Larry Marrs, who will be serving as the new
Director of LifeSpring School of Ministry. May God bless these two as they
continue on their walk with Him.
We also celebrated the completion of Bryan Cleeton and Leah Wallace's second
year. Both have decided to return for a third year. We look forward to having
them back in the fall.
We have begun preparing for conference. Tim Steinhauser and Andrew Fernandez
will be heading down to Corpus to share with the FYC and SWORD groups about
LITES. They will be presenting two messages about the call of God and how to
pursue a life changing relationship with Him in Christ.
Please be praying along with us for God's Spirit and direction for thes two as
they head to conference. Also, pray for direction for the LITES staff and any
students God may be calling here for the next LITES year.
