Fall is here! Temperatures have been dropping and the leaves are beginning to
turn color. With nighttime temperatures likely to drop into the 20’s this
weekend it feels like winter is quickly approaching.
We’ve begun a new class, Neil Anderson’s book Victory Over the Darkness. It
focuses on our spiritual identity as Christians and what it means to be “in
Christ”. This week we’ve also been watching a new video series by Ray
Vanderlaan, named God Heard Their Cry. It deals with God’s work to deliver the
children of Israel from the land of Egypt.
During the last several weeks, service projects have been a little closer to
home. We’ve been cleaning windows at Fairhaven and giving the kitchen a good
scrubbing. Things are really looking good. Looking ahead, we are anticipating
making several more visits during the next few weeks.
